Even more luxurious than the original 1953 version; owning a 1954 Packard Caribbean Convertible in their prime was like belonging to an elite club. Now, nearly 60 years later, it is even more so.

The Caribbean was Packard’s high-style convertible in their high priced luxury line. It was the production version of the handmade Packard Pan American dream cars.

The Caribbean Convertible first appeared in 1953 and was built by the Mitchell-Bentley Company of Ionia, Michigan, who had been contracted by Packard to convert 750 standard Packard convertibles.
