This could possibly be the best-kept example of a 1992 Cadillac 5.7-liter Brougham that one could hope to find. Kept most of its existence in a climate-controlled environment, the only noticeable flaw is the window sticker being ripped slightly on the top edge; however, that is the way it was delivered.
This car is loaded and also has the optional 5.7-liter V-8 engine. Most of these cars came with a 5.0-liter engine. The 5.7-liter is uncommon and desired. Although the larger engine was only a $250.00 option, it provided the basis for more substantial running gear. The 700R4 transmission is heavy-duty and set up with towing ability, the suspension is also set up to be heavy-duty. The cooling system is larger and the differential is the beefier GM Corporate 8.5, not the smaller 7.5 version in the 5.0-liter cars.
You can tell by the stance of a car that it is a 5.7 without reading the back emblems. They sit at a higher profile because of these factory fitted options. Another high end upgrade to this beautiful car would be the custom Appliance wire wheels that appear identical to the stock wire wheels. Appliance made the GM wire wheels, but the 5.7-liter Brougham would over power the stock wires and literally rip them apart. An authorized dealer fit this car with seven-inch wide wheels with larger spokes to handle the torque and towing capabilities. When new, this was a $3,000 upgrade that was painstakingly and correctly done.
This excellent example is originally from Arizona, it has only 1,200 miles since new and is in perfect condition.
