The 2002 Pontiac Trans Am was the last year for this magnificent line. Instead of letting the model dwindle away sadly however, Pontiac chose to make it a swan song. Equipping the car with heavy duty suspension and brake parts, they sourced the all aluminum 350 V8 from the C5 Corvette to power the Trans Am. Some were shipped like this one with the higher output Ram Air version.
Having the big dog engine wasn’t enough for the original buyer of this car as they chose to surround it with a convertible body for added appeal. With AM/FM CD stereo, power locks, power windows, power steering and four wheel power disc brakes this is rare opportunity to own a well cared for example of one of the best Firebirds to wear the Trans Am badging and sure to only go up in value as the last of the breed.
