258-cid, 95-hp inline OHV six-cylinder engine, three-speed automatic transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and front disc, rear drum power hydraulic brakes. Wheelbase: 100-inches

American Motors’ Pacer was intended as designer Richard Teague’s forward-looking car of the future. With asymmetric doors and a greenhouse with vast glass, it drew plaudits at its introduction. Originally planning to use a compact Wankel rotary engine, it was reconfigured for a Rambler six when General Motors halted American Wankel development.

This Pacer is an excellent, low-mileage example, with just 23,000 miles showing. Equipped with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, windshield washers and an AM radio, it has B.F Goodrich Radial T/A blackwall tires on chrome rims.
