Late in the production run of 1973, Porsche started to install the more advanced Bosch K-Jetronic (CIS) fuel-injection system into their 911 models. Often referred to as 1973-1/2, these T models are reportedly the strongest T model built and provides a very smooth, yet powerful ride.
These cars have become quite collectable; they offer the modern “bulletproof” Bosch injection in the favored long-hood body style.
This particular car has been completely refurbished. This includes new paint, interior and the targa top has also been redone to a “like new” condition. Mechanically the Porsche has been treated to a new muffler, plus a complete and new brake system (master cylinder, lines, wheel cylinders, pads and bearings). The top end was rebuilt approximately three years ago with Carrera-style chains and oilers. The steering has recently been rebuilt also.
With the aforementioned Bosch K-Jetronic fuel-injection system, not only will you get exceptional fuel mileage (stated as 28-mpg), you will experience an exceptional running car.
