This rare and desirable 1947 Pontiac Streamliner “Woodie” Station Wagon is an unbelievable barn find with only 47,000 original miles. It is said that very few of these Pontiac Streamliner models are known to exist. The body was built by Ionia Body Co. of Ionia, Michigan. Ionia produced 18,791 Pontiac wagon bodies from 1946 to 1948, the last year a full wood-body Pontiac station wagon was offered.

This car is reported to run and drive well, and is powered by a 239-2-cid, 90-hp inline six-cylinder engine that is coupled to a column-shift three-speed manual transmission. Options on this particular Pontiac include deluxe AM radio, whitewall tires, trim rings, heater and defroster. A car cover is also included.

The woodie was last registered in 1963 coming from a Saratoga, New York estate. This is a very solid car with great original wood inside and out. The Black paint is original with its patina matching the amazing original wood. A new top covering was installed to preserve the inside of the car. This car is a great barn find, ready to use as is, or it would be an excellent specimen for restoration. Regardless, it will carry with it the added distinction of being one of the most desirable postwar Woodies built by the General Motors division; we are pleased to feature this rare Pontiac.
