Initially introduced with a 479 cc two-cylinder engine, the Cinquecento lived through various technical modifications over the course of its 18-year production run but styling remained essentially unchanged. The Nuova, with its sunroof that extended the entire length of the car, was replaced in 1960 with the 500D. The primary difference between the two was a larger 499 cc engine, previously used on the Sport models, which produced an additional four horsepower.

The matching numbers 1958 Fiat 500 Nuova presented here comes from one of the most important collections of Fiat 500s in Italy. Remarkable in its presentation, it underwent a complete rotisserie restoration and sports a period correct green cloth interior. It is being offered with its original registration documents, manuals, jack and a complete set of tools in their original Fiat roll. The car is also accompanied by a certificate of accreditation from the ASI, as well as a gold plate from Fiat, confirming the vehicle’s originality. The subject of several magazine articles and the recipient of several awards, this is certainly one of the finest examples we have ever had the pleasure of offering.
