This 1938 Ford Deluxe Club Cabriolet was acquired several years ago by its present owner from the renowned collection of Ford Motor Company Director Michael Dingman. It is a handsome example that has been carefully restored to showroom condition and well maintained since. It is finished in black, and its interior is upholstered in tobacco leather—Ford was confident enough of the weather-sealing of the club cabriolet’s top and windows that they also offered cloth interiors. The top is tan cloth, and the car is equipped with a very attractive banjo-spoke steering wheel with curved spokes, a factory clock in the glove box door, a factory radio, twin outside mirrors, deluxe hub caps and wheel trim, and wide whitewall tires. The trunk contains both a new spare tire and a tool pouch with Ford-script tools.

Since being purchased from the Dingman Collection, the car has resided on the showroom floor of its current owner’s Ford dealership. It has been maintained by his factory technicians and is in perfect running condition. Improvements have been made to minimize oil leaks, the radio is now in original working condition, and the paint has been improved in several areas.
