This particular Ford tudor was treated to a $35,000 professional body-off restoration a little more than a decade ago. Careful preservation within the Charlie Thomas Collection has allowed this example to remain in outstanding condition. It was previously part of a private collection in California and has been in a climate-controlled facility since completion. This is a beautiful one-of-a-kind 1940 Ford with several options normally found on a Super DeLuxe. These items include an AM radio, accessory clock, dual trumpet horns, dual external mirrors, a front bumper guard with Ford script, and fender skirts. The black lacquer paint presents especially well with no obvious issues. The flathead is adorned to look as-new from the factory with Ford script hoses and belts. Ford logos can also be found on the original glass and trim throughout. This example will afford its next owner all the satisfaction of ownership without the arduous challenge of a restoration.
