335 hp, 383 cu. in. V-8 engine, TorqueFlite automatic transmission, torsion bar independent front and rear leaf spring suspension, and four-wheel drum brakes. Wheelbase: 116 in.

Plymouth added the Road Runner to its model lineup in 1968 as a bare bones performance car. The standard engine was the 335 horsepower 383 Wedge V-8 with a four-barrel carburetor. It made tremendous amounts of torque and performed superbly with either the TorqueFlite automatic or a four-speed manual. This Lime Green example is all business, with an Air Grabber hood and power steering as a major option. The trim tag also indicates that it was ordered with a black top, bucket seats, a console, and an AM/8-Track player, as presented today. The car appears to have benefited from a full body-off restoration and continues to present very nicely. Every component appears to have been restored or replaced. Light wear is now showing on some areas, but overall, this Road Runner presents as a high quality muscle car that has been used sparingly and needs little to attain perfection.
