40 hp, 200.5 cu. in. L-head inline four-cylinder engine, three-speed manual transmission, solid front axle with transverse semi-elliptic leaf spring, live rear axle with transverse leaf springs, and four-wheel mechanical drum brakes. Wheelbase: 103.5 in.

For 1929, a total of 12 different Ford passenger car models were offered, ranging from open roadsters to elegant town cars and including the first factory-built station wagon and even purpose-built taxi-cabs. The two-millionth Model A Ford was produced on July 24, 1929, proving it was one of the most popular motor cars of all time. Although there are still many Model As to be found and acquired in today’s market, the woodie wagon is likely the least common and most desirable. This offering is an excellent opportunity to own a high quality example. It is outfitted with a well-fitting body, newer canvas side curtains, and proper accessories. In front, a gravel guard and horn are properly mounted, as well as a side-mounted spare, side mirror, and external visor. The engine and related components are all correctly displayed. Similarly, the passenger area is neat and tidy, as Henry would have insisted upon. The eleven miles on the odometer are likely all that have been driven since the restoration was completed on this delightful, utilitarian Ford Model A.
