Addendum
Please note that, contrary to the catalog description, there is no documentation to coincide with the body-off restoration.

85 hp, 221 cu. in. L-head V-8 engine, three-speed manual transmission, live axle suspension with transverse leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 112 in.

For 1935, Ford moved the engine and cowl forward eight inches to increase the size of the passenger compartment and locate rear seat passengers in front of the rear axle without lengthening the wheelbase. Ford called it the “center-poise ride” and it was a noticeable improvement, giving cabriolets and roadsters a longer, more attractive stance. Documentation shows that this DeLuxe cabriolet was a California car that was body-off restored and updated with hydraulic brakes. Today, it remains in wonderful condition with nice panel fit and gaps. The paint and DeLuxe chrome trim and accessories, such as a greyhound mascot, dual horns, and mirrors, are all very attractive, needing very little attention. A factory radio and quality upholstery make the passenger compartment a true time machine. Lifting the hood reveals light wear from basic use, but, overall, it has been properly presented. The canvas top and boot also have been replaced recently, resulting in a winner from every angle.
