This is the type of car that happens when you take a lean and lithe family –oriented road machine and shoehorn a big, capable 428-cid, 360-hp V-8 engine with four-speed floor-mounted heavy-duty manual transmission into it. Add bucket seats, fine carpet and special suspension and you have a performance coupe that takes you back to the exciting late-sixties with a reminder of the wide array of vehicles that were available.
This is a true one owner car from new. It comes with the original purchase order from Marte Pontiac in Columbus, Ohio along with all records for all services from new. This car was ordered with factory fender skirts, center console, air conditioning, tinted glass, radio, power steering, rear speaker and undercoating. It rides on steel wheels with full-wheel covers with spinners and Firestone white-letter tires. The sale includes the original owner’s manual and a pair of original GM keys from 1967. In 1975 the car received a two-tone lacquer paint scheme with pinstripe. This car has seen routine service without regard to cost of care for all of its 46 years. The exhaust has remained stock during each of its replacements. The original three-speed Hurst transmission was removed in favor of the heavy-duty four-speed.
