Est. 355-cid, 300-hp OHV V-8 engine, two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with trailing arm coil spring suspension, and four-wheel power hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 119-inches

The closed body style in the Impala SS series was the hardtop Sport Coupe. This example, a Mississippi car, has had a professional paint job, new chrome and a new black interior. The engine is a freshly-rebuilt 327-cid block with camelback heads, 0.030 overbore, 300-hp camshaft, flat-top pistons and crankshaft from a 350. Fed by a Rochester quad, it has power to spare.

Equipment includes power steering, power brakes, dual exhausts, tinted glass, AM/FM/cassette radio, and auxiliary gauges for temperature, oil pressure and voltage mounted under the dashboard. It also has the other Super Sport equipment: bucket seats, console, and special trim. Starfire SX5000 blackwall tires are mounted on Cragar chrome wheels.

The body contours are very good, and the paint is excellent. The interior is excellent, as is the detail in the engine compartment. The undercarriage is matte black and very clean. A fine example of the Super Sport coupe for 1964, this car truly looks great.
