Finished in Ferrari red over tan leather interior with red piping. This is a fully functioning electric car that can be driven by a child. This miniature Ferrari has been treated to an extensive, complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration, including: all new paint, leather interior, and a rebuilt motor. The full wiring harness and all other systems are new or refinished, and the car is complete and working. Originally built by S.I.L.A. in Turin, Italy and styled by the famous Italian auto designer Giovanni Michelotti, these wonderful children’s cars were based on the open Ferrari Spyder of the day. Imported into the USA by Ferrari, Inc. of San Francisco, period advertising proclaimed them as ‘A Real Car – for pre-teen men and women of distinction’.

Specifications for this car include: two (child) passenger open roadster with fiberglass body, full leather interior, fitted rubber floor mat, Foot pedal brakes and accelerator, hand brake, electric motor with rear-wheel chain drive, three forward gears, 12-volt battery with charging system, full-range steering, full-front and rear suspension, rubber pneumatic tires with Siata wire wheel covers, four-wheel brakes, electric sealed-beam headlights, electric taillight, horn, and full trim and badging.
