Manufactured in September 2, 1983, this BMW 635 CSi was delivered just six days later through Koch Automobile of Aachen, Germany. Koch was a renowned Hartge dealer that was known for installing their components on BMWs. The car’s first owner, believed to be from Spain, is thought to have retained ownership of the car through 2013, when it was reregistered in Belgium.

This 635 CSi is currently fitted with a number of Hartge cosmetic upgrades, including wheels, badges, Hartge stickers and decals on the bodywork, steering wheel, a 280 km/h speedometer, gearshift knob, and tailpipe. However, it cannot be confirmed whether or not this Hartge conversion was performed in period. Currently, the car is showing just under 76,600 km from new at the time of cataloging, the car is offered with some Hartge brochures and a trunk-mounted toolkit. It presents very well in its rare ‘Dolphingrau’ paintwork over a black leather interior. Mechanically the car is fitted with a Hartge engine head cover, Hartge headers, a Hartge strut brace, and Bilstein shock absorbers which were used by Hartge. Importantly, the car is accompanied by four extra Hartge wheels.

The car has been recently serviced by the consignor to prepare it for the summer driving season, and this included fitting new spark plugs, intake manifold gaskets, servo hoses, water reservoirs, new servo and alternator belts, and an oil change. Furthermore, all non-correct and aftermarket additions were removed, which included aftermarket speakers and radio, an immobilizer and alarm, and fitting a new control unit for the onboard computer.
