This lot comprises of eight books containing signatures of numerous Formula 1 drivers from throughout the history of the sport. Spanning across sixty-nine years of the sport’s seventy-year history, these signatures were compiled by the consignor through visiting and meeting drivers at racetracks around Europe and from collecting various signed items from past drivers.
Each page is dedicated to a specific Formula 1 driver, sorted by debut year and listed alphabetically. In total, this book contains 1,077 unique signatures of 600 Formula 1 drivers, with no signature of any driver appearing more than twice. Each book was custom-made for this collection and weighs roughly 8.5 kilograms, meaning all of them weigh in at around 60 kilograms total!
Needless to say, this would be an incredible addition to any collection of Formula 1 memorabilia.
