Powered by the side valve, four-cylinder engine coupled to a four-speed transmission, this 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S with rare sunroof option represents the culmination a three-year, professional body-off-frame restoration of an original, complete car by a Mercedes-Benz restoration shop. The car has been driven less than 1,000 miles since the completion of this restoration that included a full engine rebuild with various mechanical parts custom- made by the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in Germany, German saddle leather interior, German square-weave carpet, interior wood trim, new paint and a restored sunroof with new black German canvas.
