This is a very rare 1968 High Country Mustang. Only 984 High Country examples were built from 1966 through 1968. This is one of only 251 built during the 1968 model year. The car wears its original Sunlit Gold paint with factory Nugget Gold standard bucket seat interior. The Mustang s fitted with the original "C" code 289-cid, 2V engine with C4 select-shift Cruise-O-Matic transmission. This particular car was built on June 20th 1968 "12 days ahead of schedule" and sold new at Jess Hunter Motor Company in Pueblo Colorado on August 22, 1968. The paint is high quality and the car is very rust free.

This car has been in restoration for the last couple of years; however, the owner lost his job and low on finances, so the High Country still needs a few minor detail items. All main components have been completed. The interior is all new except the steering wheel; there are new sun visors in the trunk. The original Lucas driving lights are also in the trunk and can be easily mounted. This High Country comes with the original build sheet and complete Marti report and also has many original spare parts that were saved during restoration. This uncommon car runs and drives fantastic; all lights, signals and gauges function properly. This represents a very rare car that, with a little more time invested, will be a proud addition to any collection.
