  • Depicting Ronnie Peterson’s 1974 Monaco Grand Prix-winning JPS Lotus 72E in the pit lane
  • An expertly constructed example produced by The Model Factory
  • Finished to an extremely high standard, highly desirable for collectors
  • Acquired at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed and no longer in production

This truly evocative model in 1:12 scale of the Ronnie Peterson Monaco winning 1974 JPS Lotus Formula 1 72E is an outstanding example of a professional build.

This fine ‘expanded’ model shows both the beauty and lines of the original car as well a perfectly replicated interior, visible suspension, steering and engine. It is presented as a pit lane diorama and complemented by a Ronnie Peterson helmet placed on the car. The quality of the MFH model body sections and the professionally applied paintwork and decal work are second to none.

The kit came from The Model Factory and was purchased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2016. This high-grade model kit is no longer available and therefore already a sought after collectable in its own right.

Ronnie Peterson's aggressive approach and sideways style of driving delighted motorsport fans across the globe and earned him the recognition as "Super Swede", being the most famous and successful Swedish driver ever to race in Formula 1. An archetypal racer, his name became synonymous with excitement. From his early successes in karting and minor formulae, to his strong performances in Formula 1 and sportscar racing, Ronnie Peterson is still regarded as one of the fastest and most dynamic talents the sport has ever produced. Despite never being crowned World Champion, during his nine-year Formula 1 career Peterson obtained 10 victories and was a two-time runner-up in the Championship.
