This trophy was given to Graham Hill by Lookers Ltd. as recognition for the fastest lap of the Oulton Park circuit in 1957. Invariably, this was set during the Gold Cup race which was run to Formula 2 regulations and featured most of the UK’s top drivers. Driving a Lotus 12 for Team Lotus, Hill set a time of 1 minute and 53.2 seconds, an outright lap record.
