This completely new Mustang was unveiled to the market as a Shelby GT500 equipped with a 500 horsepower supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 engine. This Shelby took the modern muscle car scene by storm with its unmatched power and immediate collectability. In 2007, 8,152 coupe examples were produced. Of those produced 2,153 were finished with Torch Red livery.
This Torch Red with White Le Mans stripes Shelby is sporting less than 350 actual miles on the odometer. This car is conveyed as being in “as new” condition with all the wrappers still on the car. The dealer sticker is still on the window. The drivetrain consists of a 5.4-liter, 500-hp supercharged V-8 engine backed with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. The air cleaner, for the engine, features Carroll Shelby’s autograph with Certificate of Authenticity #064601. The Shelby has a Shaker radio upgrade, cruise control, Brembo disc brakes, SVT 18-inch forged wheels, power steering and air conditioning. This Shelby has the optional GT 500 Premium Trim Package. The interior of this car is tailored with black and red upholstery; and red stitching on the dash and steering wheel. The optional floor mats have never been open and are still the factory plastic bag.
Since purchase this Shelby GT500 has been stored in a dehumidified garage; and it has been featured on the cover of Mustang & Ford Trader Magazine. The Shelby comes with full documentation of the purchase, dealer window sticker and the plastic protective material in the interior is still in place.
