This scratchbuilt 1:8th scale example of a light resin build with pewter and perspex trim is a very early and rare example of Javan Smith�s work. The D-Type is the No.6 as driven by Mike Hawthorn and comes with his white lined nose. Set to a solid wood stepped presentation base, the model also features an individually soldered radiator grille, pewter filler caps, bonnet clips and door handles and an aluminum exhaust.
