This scratchbuilt 1:8th scale example of a light resin build with pewter and perspex trim is a very early and rare example of Javan Smith�s work. The C-Type is the No. 18 as driven by Hamilton & Rolt and has 774 RW on the number plate. Set to a solid wood stepped presentation base, the model also features a replicated interior with pewter work controls, has real soldered wire wheels with pewter knock offs, and an individually soldered radiator grille. The various filler caps, bonnet clips and door handles are in pewter and the exhaust is in aluminium.
