Please note that this car is a Corporate Executive Sedan by Henney. Please also note that the title is in transit.

This 1953 Packard Limousine features a custom body by Henney. The car spent the early portion of its life in the U.S. Government as the main transportation for the Secret Service during the Eisenhower presidency and the early part of the Kennedy administration. It was used by the Secret Service in three inaugural parades. When the car was retired from U.S. Government duty it remained in D.C., subsequently purchased by the Bellevue Hotel on Capitol Hill. While under ownership of the hotel, this car transported celebrities, senators, government officials, foreign dignitaries, and even two future U.S. Presidents to the White House, Pentagon, and around the Capitol.

In 1997 the hotel closed, and the car became a part of a collection in Germany, where it remained until it was discovered by the consignor in 2014. Following lengthy negotiations, the consignor was able to purchase this stately Packard, returning it to the U.S. This Corporate Executive Sedan by Henney runs and drives as a Packard should and is a very rare example, one of only 100 made for 1953.
