With a long-standing reputation for creating sports cars without compromise and to be able to enjoy the open road without impediment; Porsche offered the 911S Targa as an option for turning every trip into a welcome pleasure.
This 1976 example is backed by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. It lists this car as being a U.S. equipment car that runs with a 2.7-liter, 157-hp flat six-cylinder engine that is matched to a five-speed manual transmission. Presented per COA specs in Code Y8 Ice Green Metallic, the Targa has Code 31 Cork interior, in this case with striped Recaro seats in front. Among the equipment that is listed are radio with CD, forged alloy wheels, aluminum rocker panels and fender trim, electric antenna on right, 380-mm sports steering wheel and white rectangular foglamps below the bumper. Additionally the Porsche has power steering and power four-wheel disc brakes; it is reported to have been cosmetically restored and additional (unspecified) documentation.
