The 560SL was the final and most refined version of the R107 body style. It was made from 1986 to 1989 and was the most powerful and developed of the Mercedes-Benz R107 chassis, which began with the introduction of the 450SL in 1973. By 1986, the V-8 engine had been enlarged to 5.6-liters, developing 230-hp, guaranteeing a 0- to 60-mph time of 7.5 seconds, and a top speed of 130-mph.

The classic Series 107 body style is shown with the best safety and mechanical enhancements available in period.
