The Hertz Shelby GT-H Convertible is basically the mechanical twin of the GT-H coupe, being driven by a 4.6-liter, 320-hp V-8 engine. Changes for the convertible, aside from the obvious power folding top, include a rollbar and black-painted "Bullitt"-style five-spoke wheels, as first seen on the black Shelby GT customer cars. Other features are carried over from the GT-H coupe, such as the instantly recognizable black-and-gold paint/stripe scheme, Hertz badging on the front fenders, horizontally-oriented aluminum grille and an automatic transmission. As was the case with the closed-roof GT-H, only 500 were built.

This Shelby GT-H convertible has been driven only 256 actual miles and is presented in very fine form. This particular car is number 455 of a total of 500 produced in 2007. Along with distinctive styling elements this remembrance to the original Hertz Shelby “rent-a-racer” has hood tie-down pins, rear spoiler, dual exhaust, air conditioning, tinted windows, airbags, Shaker CD stereo, remote mirrors, model-specific badging; power door locks, windows, steering and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. This is a next to new example that is quite collectable being it is such limited production of an internationally respected brand of American muscle.
