A freshly elegant new look was introduced for the Corvette in 1963. Uncluttered lines, subtle contours and graceful streamlining were goals for the Corvette design team. The results are legendary in status.

This particular fuel-injected example has been in the current owner’s family for nearly ten years. It has had a “nuts-and-bolts” frame-off restoration that was completed in 2007 to the highest standards. Every mechanism has been touched during the restoration that reflects an “as new” 327-cid, 360-hp, 11.25:1 compression, four-speed, fuel-injected Corvette Roadster.

No expense was spared in the locating of correct parts to achieve this level of detail, right down to the proper fasteners and date-coded hose clamps. All chrome has been freshened, the mechanical systems have been properly sorted, and the frame was media-blasted, inspected and painted in the correct finish. This same process was in place for the chassis components; new bushings, bearings, brakes, fuel system, shocks, universal joints and incorrect hardware were all replaced with the proper specification parts. The tires are also to original specifications. Corvette Tech, Inc. of NY had the lead on the restoration project.

The Riverside Red paint and interior were thoroughly cleaned and detailed during the restoration – the glove box, console, gauges, clock and radio are all restored original components - the current owner believes that these are original touches to the car that cannot be duplicated.

After the restoration was completed, the Corvette was awarded the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) Top-Flight Award in a national competition. The car has been redone with being a show car in mind; and with that, only 600 miles have been added to the Corvette’s mileage total since its 2007 completion. It has been kept in a climate-controlled environment during this time. Along with the fuel-injected engine; other options found on the car are G81 Positraction rear axle with 3.36:1 ratio, four-speed, an AM radio and whitewall tires.

This is a very special 1963 Corvette Fuel-Injected Roadster that looks like it just came off of a Chevrolet showroom floor.
