The Auburn being offered shows a two-tone cream and tan exterior, tan interior and a freshly fitted black cloth top. The Auburn Cabriolet is fitted with the optional supercharged 280-cid straight-eight Lycoming engine that is connected to a manual floor-shift transmission. Information gathered on this fine car indicates that, when owned by the mayor of Auburn, IN in the 1960s, he had the car upgraded (which in this time-frame was considered a very legitimate endeavor) with a correct supercharger and that at the same time the original coupe body was professionally converted to its convertible equivalent, the cabriolet.

The car has a rumble seat, driver's side spotlight, new blackwall tires on the correct wire wheels with a rear-mounted spare contained by a painted hard cover. The Auburn features many beautiful styling features such as an elegant damascene dashboard with white instrument faces and chrome bullet-shaped head and taillights. The car is eligible for Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Club events and is listed as a Full Classic by the Classic Car Club of America. This Auburn Cabriolet is sure to please most any owner.
