The Jaguar Saloon was introduced by Jaguar to be a smaller four door car with front end styling and powertrain derived from the XK 140 series. By the time of this 1962 variant, the engine had been enlarged and along with a sufficient number of other updates the car had come tobe known as the Mk II. This excellent lot has all features one would expect from the British sports/luxury automaker such as the 3.8 liter six cylinder engine, automatic transmission, power steering and power disc brakes. It can also claim to have had single family ownership until 2003 and a beautiful restoration in 2004. A drivers car, it includes the knock hammer, original tools, books and records.
