This 1965 GTO Coupe received a frame-off restoration that was completed in April 2011 by North Point Restoration and Repair. The body was stripped to bare metal and refinished in the original Fontaine Blue with white interior and black carpet. The chassis has been re-fitted with many new components. The 389-cid V-8 engine has been fully rebuilt and has 500 miles since completion. During the course of the engine work, the engine was upgraded with Tri-Power carburetors and duly increased the horsepower from 335-hp to 360-hp. The GTO has a four-speed transmission along with front disc brakes, American Torque Thrust wheels, power steering and brakes. The car is also equipped with air conditioning, console, bucket seats and installation of a CD player in the glove compartment.

The two-door Coupe was the lowest production run for all GTOs during the 1965 model year. The two-door Hardtop had 55,722 copies made, 11,311 Convertible examples and 8,319 Coupes, such as the car being offered.

The original four-barrel manifold and hubcaps come with the car.
