This micro car was one of three models produced on this platform by Glas in the Bavarian town of Dingolfing after World War II. The engine is a two-stroke, two-cylinder, air-cooled unit that displaces 247-cc and produces 13.6 horsepower. This is connected to an electric pre-selective transmission built by Gertag with a four-speed, reverse and a manual clutch. The top speed of the Goggomobil is 47-mph. This red and white example is well-presented and fun to drive. Recent Full Restoration performed by Micro Car Lot of Knoxville, Tennessee.
