The Corvette in 1962 was the final iteration of the C1. Rather than leave it alone in anticipation of the next generation, Chevrolet continued the policy of annual refinement. Although this would be the last year for many visual elements, it was the introductory year for the 327 CID smallblock. The 327 can be viewed as an engineering triumph within an entire family of engines that are renowned as a whole. It was the right balance of bore and stroke, weight and physical dimension to lend itself to many applications. One of its finest applications was in the Corvette.
This 1962 Corvette not only has a 327 V8 under the hood, it goes the next step by having the optional fuel injection version. The "fuelie" Vettes have become legendary and for good reason. Don't miss your chance to experience the legend firsthand.
