During the period of 1958-60, the approximate quantity of 350 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Cabriolets was hand-built each year. They were manufactured to the same rigorous standards common to and expected of the Mercedes-Benz marque. The steel unibody construction holds a fuel-injected, overhead-valve, 139-cid, 105-hp inline six-cylinder engine and a four-speed manual transmission. This type of Mercedes-Benz comes equipped with polished wooden dashboard and door cappings, leather upholstery and chrome trim. The Cabriolet is presented in the very desirable color combination of cream exterior, black soft top and red leather interior.
