The Mercedes-Benz 220S (W180 II) was produced from 1956 through 1959, the refined successor of the 220A model. It featured a 2.2 liter in-line six-cylinder engine which drove the rear wheels through a four-speed manual column shifter. A rather complex automatic transmission was also offered.

This Mercedes-Benz 220S sedan comes out of long-term storage and is reputed to have once been an “art car” with a cityscape relief on the bonnet and trunk. Finished in dark blue with a red leather interior, it is now in need of a full recommission.
