This isn’t your usual Mustang for 1965, sporting the K-Code package offered by Ford, this is a rare one. Finished in Twilight Turquoise on the exterior with Aqua and White “Pony” interior and powered by the HiPo K-code V-8, 271-hp engine, this sweet little pony car is a blast. Ford did not offer an automatic transmission for the Mustangs in 1965 (they did, just not on K-Codes), making this a four-speed manual transmission. Accompanied with this car is the window sticker, documenting all the various equipment for this car, including its HiPo K-code engine, GT package, its correct and unique color combination, and all of its other options, including the center console, AM radio, tinted windshield, back-up lights, Rally Pac and styled steel wheels. In addition, this car also includes an original sales brochure, owner's manual and complete history, and interestingly enough, an assortment of period Ford parts tags that would have accompanied the car when sold new at the dealership.

In its tenure of its long-term ownership from a Southern California collection, a rotisserie restoration was commissioned by its current owner who acquired this car back in 1991. Undergoing a complete nut-and bolt-restoration from a true Ford Mustang enthusiast, no stone was left unturned and this car was both carefully completed and correctly restored utilizing all correct Ford specification parts.

Just in time for the 50th Anniversary for the Ford Mustang, this opportunity presents a chance to acquire a true legacy that can be appreciated by all generations new and old.
