The American Society of Automotive Engineers named the 1969 AMX “The Best Engineered Car of the Year”. Besides the Corvette, the AMX was widely regarded as the only other true two-seat American sports car of its era. Only 2,287 of the 390-cid equipped four-speed Hurst manuals were produced making these cars a very rare find. Its high torque 390-cid V-8 engine propels this short wheelbase muscle car down the road effortlessly and draws many thumbs up and nods of approval while doing so.

This beautiful and rare X-Code 1969 AMX is equipped with the optional 390-cid, 315 horsepower V-8 engine, and its correct Borg Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission, along with a factory installed Hurst shifter. It is also accompanied with over $13,000 in receipts since 1997 and it is finished in “Bittersweet Orange” with tan and brown trim in addition to the “Go-Pack” option package.
