This original, “black plate” Shelby GT 350 was first delivered to Theodore Robins Ford in Costa Mesa, California. The build date is shown in the Shelby Registry as July 12, 1967.

With only two owners from new, the Fastback is presented in Wimbledon White with Black interior and blue LeMans stripes. The paint is original with only a few minor touch-ups in selected places. The overall condition of the Shelby is reported as “very good,” especially when one considers that it has been in service for the past 46 years.

This example has the very rare option combination that includes a four-speed manual transmission and factory air conditioning. The mileage is stated to be approximately 71,000, and this is reported to be actual. The drivetrain is correct and the highly-original presentation of the car is not easily found or duplicated.

Additionally you will find that this Shelby is equipped with power steering, power brakes, 10-spoke Shelby alloy wheels, fold-down rear seat, radio, integral rollbar, competition harnesses and many other Shelby-specified modifications.

The records indicate that this particular machine is one of the last GT 350’s to be built in the Los Angeles Shelby American facility.
