Following the lead of the front engine 924, the V-8 engine 928 was intended as a replacement for the 911, but the 911 proved to be the car that wouldn’t die. As a result, the two models soldiered on, side-by-side, until the 928 was discontinued after 1995.
This 928 presents a good appearance in metallic blue with tan leather. It is equipped with a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, power steering and air conditioning. In original condition, it shows use but the engine compartment and undercarriage are reasonably clean. The interior, however, suffers from poor storage, and will need a thorough cleaning or replacement. With just 61,000 built, it was far less popular than the 924, and is already becoming quite rare.
