Grace, space, pace: By these words were Jaguar saloon cars known during the 1950s and ’60s. Although not advertised as such, the XJ-series saloons from 1968 were possessed of the same attributes. But far more rare, and with much more grace, were the XJ6 coupes of 1975 to 1978.

This 1976 XJ6C is painted in archetypal British Racing Green. With barely 20,000 miles showing, it is generally in very good condition. The brightwork shows some age, but paint and contours are both very good. It has a tan leather interior with matching carpet and cloth headliner. Features include a heated rear window, clock, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows and an Alpine CD stereo. Fewer than 10,000 XJ coupes were built during the model’s lifespan. This is an excellent chance to acquire an excellent one.
