Often referred in Europe as the “French Volkswagen,” this little French car had proven to be a very economical and reliable car for daily transportation. This particular 4CV is a rare deluxe model complete with the even more rarely seen flat-dash configuration. Imported to the US from France in 1998, it has remained in Southern California as part of a private museum collection ever since. It has been both cosmetically and mechanically freshened in advance of the auction and is ready to enjoy.
