One of 8,304 manufactured, this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette coupe features the 327-cid engine with four-barrel carburetion rated at 300-hp and is backed by a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Among the features on the Sting Ray are factory air conditioning, cast aluminum knock-off wheels, radio, back-up lamps, chrome and aluminum engine accents and full instrumentation. Power accessories include windows, steering, and brakes. Mechanical improvements through advanced engineering of chassis and suspension components provided, in period, a smoother, quieter ride.
