Built by Auburn Speedster Company, a subsidiary of California Custom Coach, this replica 1935 Auburn Speedster is titled as a 1985 Special Constructed. It is built on a Ford LTD chassis and utilizes a Ford V-8 engine, automatic transmission, steering column with tilt-steering and narrowed rear differential. Additional equipment and features include power steering and brakes; dual exhaust, Jensen stereo system, wire spoke-wheels with wide whitewall radial tires, anti-theft system, Italian NARDI wood and aluminum sport steering wheel, burl wood trim surround for VDO gauges and speedometer indicating 4,300 miles, Raydyot spot lights, and locking golf bag side compartment.
