The Continental Mark II is a two-door personal luxury car with European flair that showed a new direction for Ford Motor Co. Powered by a 368-cid, 285-hp V-8 engine that is backed by a Turbo-Drive automatic transmission. A full complement of standard equipment includes full wheel covers, wide whitewall tires, AM radio, heater, tachometer, clock and full engine instrumentation. The array of power accessories is impressive with power side and vent windows, antenna, front seat steering and brakes. The Mark II was one of the most expensive automobiles in the world when new; it remains as distinctive and classy as when new.
