Genuine, all wood carousel horse circa 1926 this carousel horse is from a large park machine originally located in Sunset Bay New York all the horses were in very good condition when this carousel was sold as a unit to a new resort owner which then sold the horses individually and I are the last of the set to be so this is a large carousel horse which is more typical on park machines with its head with a jeweled harness stretching forward and a beautiful deeply card mean that flows over the neck the jeweled saddle is carved in deep relief and the years setback as the horses jumping. Since these items were not subject to the where that occurred during transit and set up of the portable carousels that Herschel built it has the original metal horse shoes in cast iron plate. Nose to tail 55 inches.
