The 1964 version remained much alike in styling when compared to the 1963 version. The most obvious visible cues for identifying the 1964 included removal of the center spine through the rear window (coupes only), removal of the hood trim panels and different wheel cover design. In 1964 there was 19,925 convertibles produced.

The 1964 Corvette convertible offered here has been under the care of one owner since new. This owner graciously had this Corvette frame-off restored with great attention to detail that is expected with these vehicles. The car runs with its reportedly original 327 cubic inch, 300 horsepower V-8 engine. (Block number 378270). The numbers supplied by the owner shows that the engine has the correct distributor (#111024); and the carburetor is correct for the engine and manual transmission (Carter 3721S/SA/SB #3851761). Married to the engine is a M20 four-speed manual transmission.

The paint on this car is finished in Riverside Red paint (#923); only 5,274 were finished in this color. The interior is tailored with black genuine leather (RPO #898). Only 1,334 were fitted with genuine leather from the factory. This Chevrolet has Soft-ray tinted glass on all windows (A01), special cast aluminum knock-off wheels (P48), redline radial tires, backup lamps (T86), AM/FM radio (U69), teak steering wheel and side exhaust. Also equipped are power steering and power brakes.
