The V-12 was offered from 1971–1975. During the four-year production run, a total of 15,287 examples were produced. The Series III cars are very refined among the E-Types.
The new V-12 production engine did not fit into the two-seat E-Type coupé, so the new motor was offered in roadster and 2+2 configurations only. Jaguar widened the front and rear track to accommodate the bigger and more powerful motor, which also necessitated a longer hood and chassis with a bigger air intake and grille. This fixed head Jaguar is presented in a 2+2 seating configuration. The tan paintwork and is complimented by factory chrome wheel covers and chrome bumpers. The interior is finished with pleated upholstery, complete instrumentation, a radio and a center console. The owner reports this beautiful British motorcar to have 33,372 original miles; and just one professional repaint.
