When the Corvette was first produced the goal was to produce an American sports car. Chevrolet succeeded in this task, and nineteen years later were still producing an American sports car. The 1972 Corvette was the fifth year produced C3 and received very little change from previous years. This would be the last year for chrome front bumpers and the removable rear window. Offered with the 1972 Corvette were ten different colors and three different engine sizes.

This certain Corvette coupe has received a cosmetic restoration and is finished in yellow with a complimenting lavish black interior. The car is loaded with T-Tops, power steering, brakes, windows and air-conditioning. The engine is the ever reliable 350-cid V-8 and in this case, backed by an automatic transmission. The Corvettes came standard with four-wheel disc brakes, fully independent suspension and positraction rear axle.
