Since 1954 Mercedes-Benz has been producing a sporty two-seat convertible under the marque SL, which means “Sport Lightweight.” Some consider the SL roadsters of the 1990s to be an underrated performance car that combined sporty handling qualities with renowned Mercedes-Benz quality and comfort. With a monstrous V-12 just shy of 400-hp, it was a force to reckoned with.
This car is said to be a European version, with just short of 7,200 actual miles, and it shines as if it just rolled of the showroom floor. It is highly-optioned with radio with CD player, air conditioning; power steering, brakes, windows and convertible top. It is finished in silver with a black interior. The engine is a V-12 with 389-hp supported by a five-speed automatic transmission.
